I personally have been drooling over the nikon d80 specs, but part due to not wanting to wait and part being not sure how often I'd carry a dSLR around I just replaced my old digicam with a Fujifilm F30.

I thought the same, so I kept my old point and shoot when upgrading. I barely touch the P&S these days though...
