New York Rangers President and General Manager Glen Sather announced today that right wing Jed Ortmeyer has been diagnosed with a pulmonary embolism. Ortmeyer is set to undergo further testing this week and will be out of action indefinitely.

yes.. though TSN hinted he may be back for training camp. Somewhat hard to believe, but one can only hope it is in fact not that serious for Jed.
