I dont know what the big deal is... thats a regular night on Whyte Ave.

Okay, the bonfire might not have been the best idea, but with 30,000 people on Whyte and only 15 arrests? C'mon. That's not a riot. This whole thing is being blown out of proportion.

(The Ottawa Sun article yesterday said 50,000 people. Edmonton police estimates have it between 20,000 and 30,000 depending on which article you read)

thats still like 4-5% of the population of edmonton... still doesn't sound like much of a riot, especially for people from Alberta. Riots in Alberta would definitely involve blowing something up.
